Rendering of the Continued Construction Project of Qingdao Yangfan Ship 2 # Outfitting Terminal
The supporting project of Qingdao Port Qianwan Port Dry Bulk Terminal (Phase I) and the continuation project of Qingdao Yangfan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.'s 2 # outfitting terminal have recently started construction. The implementation of these two projects will further improve the infrastructure of Qingdao Port Terminal, optimize the layout of port functions, support the development of shipbuilding and shipping services, and better support Qingdao's construction of a world-class international shipping center.
The supporting project of Qingdao Port Qianwan Port Dry Bulk Terminal (Phase I) is a key renovation project to improve the quality and efficiency of the existing operation area in the port area. By systematically upgrading and transforming the original small harbor pool yard operation area, it fills the gaps in the existing bulk cargo operation process and optimizes the entire chain operation system of loading, unloading, transportation, and warehousing in the port area. The project is located in the north bank operation area of Qianwan Port Area in Qingdao Port. It is planned to build 4 belt conveyors, 5 transfer machine rooms, 7 fixed material hoppers, 2 box transformers, wharf and yard retaining walls, supporting 1 # substation and production command center for bulk cargo process, fire pump station, supporting facilities, etc. The project is scheduled to be completed in June 2027. After the renovation is completed, the yard will mainly serve the 76 # (200000 ton class) unloading berth, 86 # (50000 ton class) unloading berth, 87 # (150000 ton class) unloading berth, 63 # (50000 ton class) loading berth, and 64 # (35000 ton class) loading berth of Qiangang Port, adapting to the needs of large ship berthing operations and significantly improving the turnover efficiency and standardization level of bulk cargo operations in the port area. The main types of goods for this project are coal, ore, and bauxite, with a designed annual transportation capacity of 31.6 million tons.
Qingdao Yangfan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. 2#The continued construction project of the outfitting dock is located in Shannan Village, Tianheng Town, JimoTo the south is the Yellow Sea, to the southwest is the N ü dao Port, to the east is Wangtai Mountain, to the west is Jian Mountain, and to the north is the planned urban road. The original design total length of Terminal 2 in this project was 590 meters, and it has now been completed for 460 meters. Based on the existing Terminal 2, this project will rebuild the original Terminal 20 meters and continue to build Terminal 2 for 130 meters. The current situation of the breakwater is that the breakwater has been built with a length of 545 meters, and a further 60 meters of breakwater will be constructed, with a total length of 605 meters. The project is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2027.
